Shangri-La Shenzhen - Nearby Luohu Border, Outdoor Swimming Pool, Shenzhen

I was impressed by the spacious rooms with a nice view, and the adorable towel folding animals made by the roommaid. The extra amenities were definitely worth the added cost, and the view overlooking Hong Kong was fantastic. However, there was a slight tobacco smell in the room.

The hotel has a great location for accessing the shopping center and train stations in Shenzhen. The rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment, and there is a persistent smell in the morning. Despite this, the hotel location is fabulous and convenient, especially for those coming from Hong Kong.

During my 2-day business trip on the 14th and 15th nights, the hotel's location near Lohu was convenient and provided me with easy access to shopping and transport. The friendly service at the coffee shop and cocktail bar added to a pleasant stay despite the need for room updates. However, the pricing could be more competitive compared to other hotels offering similar quality during my search.

The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms, with a slight issue regarding the size of the main door. The service is friendly and helpful, especially in the Horizon Club. The location is excellent, close to the metro station, commercial city shopping, and the Luohu Hong Kong border. Dining is economically priced but lacks variety for foreigners. The facilities are well-maintained.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms offered a beautiful view and were very comfortable but felt slightly ordinary. The service was good overall, especially from the porter, but I faced challenges with staff not acknowledging loyalty benefits and outdated room facilities. The location was convenient, close to the subway and commercial city shopping, but lacked the expected 'Shangri La experience'. The dining options were economically priced, but limited in variety and lacking some international choices.
